Please take a look at our FAQs below before making your booking

Cleevely Mobile has been running since 2021, and our team have experienced most situations. We hope the FAQs below will help answer your questions about our electric car service and maintaince services.

What area does Cleevely EV Mobile Cover?

Cleevely Mobile covers the majority of Great Britain. We have technicians across the UK and can reach most locations. Please contact us, no matter where you are located, and we will do our best to book you in as soon as we can.

How early should I book my EV service?

To ensure timely service, we recommend scheduling your electric vehicle (EV) servicing well in advance. While we are continuously expanding our team to meet demand, our slots can fill up quickly, often resulting in a 6-8 week wait time. Booking at least two months ahead will help us optimise our technician scheduling and reduce your wait time.

Will using Cleevely EV Mobile Servicing affect my vehicle's warranty?

Under the Block Exemption Regulation (BER), servicing does not need to be performed by a manufacturer’s dealer network to maintain your warranty.

Cleevely EV Mobile is a VAT-registered vehicle maintenance provider that adheres to all standard EV maintenance protocols. Our services are designed to complement your EV’s requirements without compromising your manufacturer’s warranty. Rest assured, choosing us for your EV servicing needs maintains your vehicle’s warranty integrity.

What quality of parts do you use for EV servicing?

Our commitment to quality ensures we use high-quality Original Equipment (OE) parts wherever possible. With extensive experience across various electric vehicle makes and models, we leverage our expertise to source parts that offer the best value in terms of performance and cost.

Do I need to be present during the service?

While many of our customers prefer to be present during their EV’s service, it’s not a requirement. Our technicians will need access to your vehicle, which can be facilitated by leaving a key or providing remote access, such as through an app for Tesla owners.

Is off-street parking necessary for servicing?

For the safety of our technicians and to comply with regulations, we require off-street parking to service your EV. This can include private driveways, work car parks, or any safe, flat, off-road area.

Will the technician need to use my charger?

While not mandatory, allowing our technicians to use your EV charger is greatly appreciated. Our technicians often cover large distances and work long hours, so access to your charger can be very helpful. Any electricity used will be reimbursed upon request.

Who will service my EV?

Your vehicle will be serviced by one of our fully trained EV specialist technicians, all of whom undergo extensive on-the-job training before earning EV-specific qualifications. They are supported by the entire Cleevely EV team in Cheltenham for any complex issues.

What's the best way to contact Cleevely EV Mobile?

For the quickest response, please use the contact form on our website. While we also offer a voicemail callback service, responses may be slower due to high demand.

What are your office hours?

Our office operates from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday. We aim to respond to all enquiries submitted via our Contact Form within 2 working days.

Can I book a service over the weekend?

To support our technicians’ work-life balance, we do not offer weekend appointments. However, we can accommodate servicing at your workplace during the week if you’re unable to be home.

What happens in case of bad weather?

Our technicians are equipped to work in various weather conditions, typical of British weather. Extreme weather conditions that may affect your appointment are rare. If available, servicing your EV under a carport or within a large garage is always appreciated.

Does Cleevely Mobile offer MOTs?

Cleevely Mobile specialises in providing expert electric car servicing directly at your convenience, whether at your home or workplace. Our focus is on delivering high-quality services alongside specialised electric vehicle maintenance. It’s important to note that MOT tests must be carried out by an authorised MOT testing centre, as per UK regulations.

While we do not offer MOT tests as part of our services, we are dedicated to ensuring your electric vehicle remains in peak condition through our comprehensive servicing options. For your MOT needs, we recommend visiting a certified MOT testing centre to ensure your vehicle meets all the necessary legal and safety standards.

If you require advice on preparing your vehicle for an MOT or have any other maintenance questions, please feel free to reach out to us via our contact form
